Story of this Masterpiece

Created in 1885.

This beautifully detailed artwork has been created as early as 1885 and is, no matter how odd it seems, non-fictional and has totally been issued to the public.

Originally created as an advertisement for the live-performance of a married couple, who is rumored to have been the tiniest celebrities of their time, this masterpiece of vintage marketing still perfectly reflects the zeitgeist of a fin de siècle showbiz.

The curious illustration shows Millie Edwards and husband "General Mite" on top of an advertising pillar, next to an adult man with an impressive mustache wearing a fabulous pinstripe suit. Although not mentioned on this particular motif, the given constellation is for size comparison that has (in other publications) often been claimed to demonstrate "actual life-size".

Taking place at the Piccadilly Hall, the Royal American Midgets traveled a long way to bring their dwarfism to paying customers in London, who would visit similar (so called) "Freak Shows" quiet eagerly during the 19th century. This vintage print is a perfect reminder of how crazy society has been in the past and how not to treat each other going into the future.

Decorate your wall with this extreme vintage poster to add a vibe of mystery and curiosity to your room. Let your guests debate about the realness of this wall art and stun them with your knowledge about the protagonists, who also personally got invited by Queen Victoria during their trip to Europe.
