Story of this Masterpiece

The electrical oven has been invented in 1850 but only been introduced to the world in 1893. Approximately another 30 years later, after further development, the electrical oven became more publicly known but remained kind of a luxury pleasure. Only in the 1950s has the heart of the kitchen become somewhat affordable for everyone and became a common sighting in many homes, from the US to Europe to New Zealand.

The best thing about an oven is also the worst: it scalds. "Of course it does" you may think but back then when these things were brand-new people tend to forget, and also they aren't aware that when it came to their kiddos "they don't know it scalds". Things must have gotten so bad that the N.Z. Department of Health released these warning posters to the public, advising to ""keep handles out of reach"".

Decorate your home with this classy vintage-poster with its typical color-palette of a very bold orange to celebrate the often glorified mid-century. This artwork is also the perfect gift for any baby shower, serving as a nice vintage decoration while giving a strong appeal that is still important today.
